The Season kicks off weekend 14th and 15th and after the World Cup everyone is chomping at the bit to get going. We wish everyone an enjoyable season. Please do not ask for any postponements if at all possible.

The opening Management Meeting of the new season is on this Thursday at 8pm in the Complex. All clubs must be represented as fines will be issued for non attendance. Contact details for all the teams in your divisions will be given out at this meeting so it is important that you attend. Please check the AUL website secretaries section and ensure all your details are correct on it. If there is any problem with the details please notify Dick immediately on info@aul.ie and we can make the necessary changes.

The Tommy Clements Cup is in full swing and the Quarter Finals are on this Tuesday the 11th. In the Complex from 7pm. Come up and enjoy a feast of football.

Any player playing with an outstanding fine against his name is a protest. The fines list is up for inspection on the notice board in the Complex.

Remember get your club prepared early. Collect your  Player Registration Forms and have your players signed in plenty of time. Be careful if a player is signed and registered with another club this season and even if he does not kick a ball for them he must get a transfer from that club.

It is very important that every club in the League enter a team into the Umbro F A I Junior Cup next season. Forms can be obtained from the Complex or on www.fai.ie. The sponsors Umbro deserve all the support we can give them. Also teams should support the O Neill’s sponsored Leinster Junior Cup and Shield.

If you now have time on your hands and are interested in football would you be interested in becoming a Referee. If so please contact the Recruitment Officer, Football Association of Ireland, 01 8999500
