The Athletic Union League held a very sucessful AGM last night in the Complex. There was a packed house to hear the President Tony Martin revisit the season gone by and all the success it brought to the league. Sucess in the form of 10 AUL players in Gerry Smiths Junior International squad. Five AUL players capped for Ireland in the Quadrangular in Co Down and four players capped for Ireland's international Futsal team when they played Norway. The league has gone from strength to strength and this Monday is a testamony to success when Giovanni Trappatoni will attend our press conference in the Regency Hotel to announce four new sponsors for the league.

When all the talking was done all the officers were re elected for another term. The executive was also re elected and it is this continuing show of support for your committee that make the AUL the best league in the Country.
