The formation meeting is this Thursday at 8pm in the Complex. All clubs must attend.
Our Division 3 Sunday League is nearly full. If you are interested in putting a team in just email dick on info@aul.ie As the 3 and 3A Saturday divisions are large you might want to change to Sunday.

The formation meeting is on June 17th at 8pm in the Complex. All applications have to be by June 10th. Remember we need teams to enter the division 3 Sunday division. Email info@aul.ie if interested in 3 Sunday.

Congratulation to Landen United for winning the Senior Sunday division last Thursday night with a 1-0 win over Aston Village, Ray Staunton with that all important strike. A special mention must go to Landen striker Stephen O Brien who scored and incredible 33 goals for the season. Also congratulations to Aungier Celtic from the same division as they finished runners up and can now look forward to Premier football next season.
Shancastle United trounced league champions North Wall YC 5-3 to finish runners up in 2A Saturday.
St.Pauls Artane fell at the final hurdle on Sunday in the O’neills Leinster Junior Cup final. They were beaten 2-1 by a very strong Willow Park side from Athlone. St.Pauls brought bus loads of supporters and they were treated to an excellent display of football.
Well done to Fairview Rangers on winning their 8th FAI Junior Cup after they beat St.Michaels of Tipperary on penalties after a 0-0 draw in Turners Cross.
The presentation night is down for June 19th from 5.15pm to 8pm in the Regency Hotel. The guest speaker this year is John Aldridge the ex Liverpool legend. There will be a four course meal. Tickets can be booked by phoning Tony Duffy on 8408935 9-4 Mon to Fri We are trying this new format this year so clubs can go back to their local and party the night away.
Get your league application forms back into the Complex with your €100 deposit per team as quick as possible so the new divisions can be compiled for season 2010 2011. Failure to send in your application form may result in you not getting into a division you were expecting.
Very Important : The League would like to resurrect division 3 Sunday once again and make a serious assault on the Leinster Junior Shield next year. Teams were asked to move up from 3 to 2 and 2A Sunday last year so if you want to go back to playing division 3 football again of if you have a new team thinking of coming into the league please contact Dick on 087 2076518 or email info@aul.ie before June 10th. We have teams interested we just need a few more so if your thinking about it go for it and contact Dick.

Well done to Fairview Rangers on winning the Umbro FAI Junior Cup. The Limerick side beat St.Michales of Tipperary on Penalties after extra time.
