Well done to Sheriff YC on winning runners up in Premier A. A long season came to an end last Sunday and each and every one of the players must be commended on staying together so long after most teams had finished their programme to complete their fixtures.

The Formation Meeting in on this Thursday so get your league application forms back into the Complex with your €100 deposit per team as quick as possible so the new divisions can be compiled for season 2010 2011. Failure to send in your application form may result in you not getting into a division you were expecting. Very Important : The League would like to resurrect division 3 Sunday once again and make a serious assault on the Leinster Junior Shield next year. Teams were asked to move up from 3 to 2 and 2A Sunday last year so if you want to go back to playing division 3 football again of if you have a new team thinking of coming into the league please contact Dick on 087 2076518 or email info@aul.ie before June 10th. The presentation night is down for this Saturday June 19th in the Regency Hotel. 5pm for press photos. The guest speaker this year is John Aldridge the ex Liverpool legend. We are trying this new format this year so clubs can go back to their local and party the night away. St.Kevins Boys Youths team we beaten by Arklow Town on penalties in the final of the LFA Youths Cup. The Airtricity League v Man Utd game on 4th August in the Aviva Stadium will be treated like an International friendly by the League.
